Litigation Unit Lead Estimator - Allstate (TX, LA, MS, AL, FL) July 2006 – August 2007 Headed specialty team of estimate writing specialists created for evaluating, reviewing and correcting all facets of current and prior estimates. Wrote comprehensive supplemental estimates from photos, adjuster’s scope notes & measurements, contractor bids and attorney supplied estimates on difficult & high profile litigation files. Generated Excel spreadsheets, comparing Allstate estimates to any independently submitted estimates. Engineering Unit Inside Adjuster–Allstate (Louisiana, Mississippi) May 2006- July 2006 Processed complex & technically difficult large loss claims to completion, wrote comprehensive supplement estimates on Attorney Rep and Litigation claims. Recognize building materials as well as the many other facets of property losses while reviewing Engineer reports and writing estimates based on the information and photos provided. Presented findings to superiors for review. Made payments according to the policy provisions and coverage’s.
Mediation Unit Inside Adjuster – Allstate (Louisiana, Mississippi) April 2006 - May 2006 Negotiated settlements with insured’s and reached agreements to close their claims prior to the scheduled State sponsored mediation dates. Admin Manager - Citizens February 2006 – April 2006 Initiated and hosted “Supplement” training sessions for all field adjusters chosen for clean up. Directed 15 field adjusters through clean up. Reviewed their estimates, approved, made corrections or returned with request for corrections. Filed daily reports and made diary entries into the system. Approved & submitted payroll requests and payment requests.

CAT Team Technical Advisor/Field Supervisor - Citizens October 2005 – December 2006 Assisted in the Orientation program for the Hurricane Wilma CAT Adjusters. Managed 120 CAT Adjusters on 2 coasts in South Florida. Trained those adjusters on all aspects of scoping losses, writing estimates, documentation, photographing damages. Instructed them on the use of the computer estimating program, uploading claims, photos and diary entries. Physically assisted them when scoping complex & difficult losses.
Inside Louisiana Mold Adjuster - Allstate September 2005 – October 2005 Wrote estimates based on information gathered from insured over the phone, information from Vendor mold assessment reports and Outside Adjusters reports. Communicated with the insured directly. Maintained file documentation, made appropriate follow-ups and managed all claims to completion.
Outside Florida Mold Adjuster - Allstate May 2005 – September 2005 Possessed excellent interpersonal communication and computer skills as well as construction knowledge while scoping losses, documenting damages and writing comprehensive supplement and mold estimates based on information and photographs gathered on site. Closed the highest daily percentage of claims in the territory. Settled all claims in a timely manner.
