Work Experience
2008-Current, Independent Adjuster / Catastrophe Adjuster
Responsibilities included: Receiving, coordinating, scheduling, inspecting and settling assigned claims on behalf of numerous insurance companies such as State Farm, American Family, Citizens Insurance, Allstate, Ameriprise, Metlife, or USAA. Claim assignments can be based upon a Catastrophe basis demanding immediate travel working unlimited amounts of claims. Otherwise working what is known as day claims. Typical average of 4 – 7 closed claims a day depending on type and situation. Claim types include that of hurricane, hail, wind, lightning, fire, sump pump failure / sewage back-up, many include contents. See above for states licensed in, not all states require a license. In all situations, customer service and professionalism is number 1 priority regardless of which insurance company is being represented in the field.
