State Farm dropping homeowner policies
By host @ 5:05 PM :: 1327 Views :: 0 Comments :: Article Rating :: In Your Business

State Farm Florida has until the end of January to finished notifying 125,000 customers across the state that their homeowners policies will not be renewed and they must find replacement coverage.

"We have been mailing out nonrenewal notices for over 11 months now and we are getting close to the end," said Michael Grimes, the company's spokesman.

Grimes said customers have been given about six months' notice from the time their policies would expire, so customers being notified now would be those whose polices expire in the last half of the year.
