What is a Home Inventory?
This is a detailed list of the personal property or assets located in your Home or Business. This should also include property that may be stored elsewhere. Such as a storage unit, a warehouse or the like. Your Inventory List should include for a Home: Your Furniture; Jewelry; Artwork; Antiques; Collections (Stamp, Baseballs, Etc); Appliances; Electronics; Etc. For your Business: Merchandise in stock; Storage; Electronics; Furniture; All Equipment

· Why do I need a home or business inventory?
It is valuable for Insurance purposes. When a claim is needed you will need to show the quantity of items, description, and cost associated with the loss. Your Insurance Company may request you to provide proof of value. At times if adequate information is not provided regarding the lost items, you may receive less than full compensation. Relying solely on memory can be an expensive mistake. It is also good to conduct an inventory when you are planning a move. That way if something is found missing or damaged, you will be prepared to file a claim against the moving company you hired. You will be able to provide accurate information regarding the loss.

· What does my Insurance Company require?
The requirements may vary according to each Insurance Company. Most Insurance companies do request documented records of your belongings. The format is not the same with each Insurance Company, yet the expectation is. Proof is what is expected.

· What about Privacy?
Privacy and Confidentiality are priority. Prior to an Inventory, a Confidentiality and Disclosure Agreement is signed between all parties. There are two (2) agreements signed. To which you will receive and one we will retain.
