NAIIA Mission Statement
The National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters was organized in April, 1937 in order to:


Create dignity and invite a feeling of high regard to the business and profession of independent adjusting

Cooperate with the insurance fraternity so a cordial relationship will be fostered and maintained between the independent adjuster and the public

Guide the activities of those engaged in the independent adjusting field so that the highest standard will be encouraged and maintained

Collectively conduct ourselves to protect the business of independent adjusting against any form of activity found to be unjust or detrimental to the insurance fraternity

Hold periodic meetings for sharing ideas, discussing mutual problems, attempting to find solutions to matters concerning and affecting both the association and its individual members

Correlate the activities of this association in the interest of the insurance adjusting profession and the public which it serves

Provide the companies relying upon the facilities of independent adjusting, the best, most reliable and valuable type of adjusting service possible

OFA - Organization of Flying Adjusters - -

The OFA is a  trade association of professional claims adjusters, who as aviators, handle all types of aviation claims on behalf of insurance companies and self insureds. The members are retained to investigate, and handle insurance claims, and are held to the mission statement of the OFA.

The Society of Registered Professional Adjusters is the organization implemented to oversee the qualifications and designations of Registered Professional Adjusters (RPA).  The Society was formed by industry professionals that felt continuing education was critical and that there needed to be a designation that recognized the professionalism of an adjuster.  The Board of Directors is made up of insurance company top management and support organizations, independent claims adjusters, and attorneys that work directly with the industry.  It is the first and only designation formed by and for the insurance claims professional.

Windstorm Insurance Network, Inc. (WIND) - -

The Windstorm Insurance Network, Inc. (WIND) is the first educational professional organization devoted solely to dealing with windstorm issues of interest to insurance practitioners. It was formed in 1999 with the goal to bring professionals together in the review and discussion of windstorm insurance issues and concerns. WIND’s mission is to offer industry insight and education for professionals interested and employed in the windstorm insurance industry.
