I believe a 'good' storm is one you can average $5,000 a week. That was always the goal. The year I worked the most (1998) I worked about 40 weeks (add about 6 weeks traveling between assignment). I guess that year I averaged about $3,500 a week. Great money, just alot of time. I calculated the gross hourly wage at about $30.00 an hour. After expenses, taxes, FICA, wear and tear on the body, do the math. Don't get me wrong, I certainly made six figure income, but it was not as easy or lucrative as many suggest.
