High winds, 7 inch rain in four hours, tornados and hail. This storm is ongoing and will last for several more hours. I am on emerg power and phone has been out. A check from your location may give you more info, I only have the B'ham TV station available. The radar looks pretty bad. Pack your bags, there may be some work here.
Is every one working yet? We bit the bullet one more time and the tornados missed us, barely. We had a string for one hour and fifteen minutes about a mile behind our property. The roar was like a flock of trains. Lucky all the area behind us is 9x11 Miles of forest. No roads or houses. Flooding is widespread in the South East and the rivers are still rising. We are looking for more rain and storms tomorrow(Sunday). I don't have any phone service and will be out till next Wednesday. The only comm. I have is going to the nearest phone with a lap top. I hope this finds everyone safe in their assignments, I'll still check the forum and email periodicly. I am sure there will be a lot of work out of the mid West, from what I have heard there was a lot of destruction. The worst is yet to come here. Lake Martin has 18 flood gates open and flooding is already taking place downstream. I gotta get my flood certification applied for, I may need to go to work.
