Over 32 years adjusting and have taken the bad with the good and try to call the claim as I see it.

When will the companies realize that it takes as long or longer to handle a no claim and a lot more trouble but still pay’s almost nothing.

I handle each claim the same way that is measure, diagram and photo the roof etc on a paid claim or a no claim. Same product is given but a no claim almost free.

If you catch a bad storm you will go broke on the present schedules out there.

I am working in a area now that has very large hail and it shows on older roofs however the newer roofs are hard to find and do test squares to prove that it needs replacing although i know it will sooner or later.

What does everyone else do and any comments?

Seems to me the companies need to wake up to this.

Some companies pay the same for 0 to 5000$ Of course the fee is still to low but at least you don't get punished for finding no damage.

The worst zone you can draw is zone that has no visible hail damage. Many long talks with Insureds and lots of reinspections.
