Houston is fixin' to get a flood. It is going to be similar to Allison. Claudette is going north at the moment and will turn just a little west and come in just East of Port O'Connor.
As of 1 am EDT we have a hurricane and the NHC was right on about the left turn, just when it appeared to have Houston in it's sights. Now where will it hit, Corpus or Port Lavaca? It is approaching the coast at an angle and this should limit last minute strengthening, final winds shouldn't get over 80 maybe 85 mph, good luck to all our people on the Texas coast and please be careful.
