Hello folks, this is about the "Fire Scene .... T&T" thread. Looking at the web site tonight, there seems to be very little interest in the thread; and no discussion at all.
There has only been about 60 "hits" to the thread since the 1st chapter, about 48 hours ago.
Comparatively, other threads started today have accumulated about 1.5 times the hits, and other technical type threads have many more times the hits than that in a few days. In a sense it is like TV ratings - if the product is not what you want, for any number of reasons, you do not tune in; and the product gets put on the back shelf.
Anyway, why is it that the mentioned thread is not being read? It would serve me better to know why. Is it the format? Is it the material content? Is it your interest level? Is it the timing, relative to the events on CADO before the 1st chapter was entered? What, or who, has to be changed, please tell me - no hard feelings by me. I cann't help but develop a sense of "uselessness", if I am only doing this for myself or a very small percentage of CADO members, and an even smaller percentage of CADO followers. I am not doing this for myself, and I don't see the need if so few people are reading it.
Plinky, Joe, others, feel free to reply openly here, or send me an email if you want.
It is still good weather to go fishing. I've asked the direct questions, you will not hurt my feelings with your direct answers. Thanks. |

| Clayton...I for one am reading the thread, but time has been a commodity the last several days...I have been working daily claims and am staying busy...Earlier this year ,I perceived that CAT adjusting was going south due to lack of storms, so I solicited small I/A firms and have ended up working for 3-4 a on a regular basis--none of them can keep me busy by themselves, but combined,it is not to shabby...all parties know up front that I work for others...and they understand...any way, I got slammed with several serious water losses this week........Whether or not I will jump in and post...don't know...I seem to do do well in the real world of everyday adjusting, but here I feel ...well, not so good about things...maybe I have a problem communicating in cyber world....maybe it is something else.....any way, now you know that someone is reading your posts.....Life is too short...go fishing...but take your clip board(or PDA and make notes for the forum)... |
