I am a new adjuster (licensed in 2007), live here in Houston and intend to work Ike. I have Xactimate 25 training. I worked Dolly for a contractor doing estimating in Xm8. The contractor was an experienced adjuster so I learned how to do estimates and schmooze adjusters. We tried to get to the claim before the adjuster and hand him our estimate fully dimensioned with photos(via email). I still haven't been paid, ugh.
Looking for a vendor to get on with that offers good support. I am a capable dude with plenty of construction estimating experience but I have forgotten some of the appurtenant structure and depreciation type details. I can estimate a roof, sheet rock, detach and reset fixtures, blah, blah.
Allcat offered a 60/40 split and immediate employment. I am unsure whether the table below is before or after their cut (I hate being new). They want $240 in advance for the voice mail/e-fax service which also includes O & E, fee is good for a year. Paying in advance doesn't set well with me but if this is the best I can do, I may have to pony up the bucks.
Any advice appreciated.

Base fee requires contact within 48 hours of assignment (24 hours when
possible), a thorough inspection of the dwelling and grounds, and an accurate
scope and estimate of covered damage.

$75,000+ building losses that are reassigned to Large Loss Team: priority
inspection with basic scope and good photos required to support loss size. Lead or
supervisor to be notified immediately for direction. If claim is reassigned to the
Large Loss Team, minimum fee applies.
Zone manager must approve time and expense billing when applicable.
Time and Expense: $75 per hour, if approved by zone manager for unique
situations
Claims Reopened and Reinspected - same firm: greater of $200 or difference in
base fee.
Outbuildings inspected and diagrammed - per building $20
