We currently have Verizon for our cell phones and AT&T for our home internet service. I need internet service for my laptop that will be used in my truck. Are there any recommendations, or should I just call Verizon/AT&T?

Six of one/half dozen of the other. I had a Verizon card for lapper for 3 years or so, but found that when I ended up going back to my property it didn't get a signal. Switched to AT&T and get a great signal there. I'd look at the coverages for the areas that you think you would use it the most and consider that. There is also a lot of WIFI out there that you can use for free in a chunk of hotels, RV Parks, restaurants, coffee houses, etc. You mentioned that you have AT&T for your home internet service, so you might think about getting one AT&T card for the lapper that is USB type, and put the programs on both puters. Then just transfer the card back and forth between them, and only pay for one service that way. Can set up a wireless router and use both at the same time when you need to.

Thanks for the information. I went with Verizon. It seems to work fine in the Atlanta area and coverage is supposed to be ok in the Dallas and Houston areas as well. I will know for sure Sunday!

I can tell you that the Verizon card had excellent coverage in the HOuston area, at least before there was a storm
