Our attitudes control our lives.  Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad.  It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

THE OLD  PATHS
  I liked the old paths, when
  Moms were at home.
  Dads were at work.
  Brothers went into the army.
  And sisters  got married BEFORE having children!

Crime did not  pay;
  Hard work did;
  And people knew the  difference.

Moms could cook;
  Dads would  work;
  Children would  behave..

 Husbands were  loving;
  Wives were supportive;
  And children  were polite.

  Women wore the jewelry;
  And Men wore the pants.
  Women looked like  ladies;
  Men looked like gentlemen;
  And  children looked decent.

 People loved the  truth,
  And hated a lie;
  They came to  church to get IN,
  Not to get  OUT!

  Hymns sounded Godly;
  Sermons sounded helpful;
  Rejoicing sounded  normal;
  And crying sounded  sincere.

  Cursing was wicked;
  Drinking was evil;
  and divorce was  unthinkable.

  The flag was honored;
  America was beautiful;
  And God was  welcome!

  We read the Bible in public;
  Prayed in school;
  And preached from house  to house
  To be called an American was worth dying for;
  To be called a Christian was worth living for;
  To be called a traitor was a  shame!

   I  still like the old paths the best !

Instead of giving yourself reasons why you can't,  give yourself reasons why you can.

This is good, in my humble opinion.

We must overcome the notion that we must be regular... it robs you of the chance to be extraordinary and leads you to the mediocre. Dare to be extraordinary and different. This will set you apart from the common.

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience. I have done this all my life and when it is my time to go, I feel fulfilled about what I have done and accomplished. Don't wait until it is too late, live life to its fullest.

You're the only one who can make the difference.  Whatever your dream is, go for it. Dreams become reality when action is applied.

We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

One comes to believe whatever one repeats to oneself sufficiently often, whether the statement be true or false.  It comes to be a dominating thought in one's mind.

Remember your lady, guys. Valentine is upon us.

Love is not about finding the right person,
but creating a right relationship.
It's not about how much love you have in the beginning
but how much love you build till the end.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

MAYONNAISE JAR
AND 2 CUPS OF COFFEE
The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Cups of Coffee
When things in your life seem almost too much to
handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough,
remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of
coffee.
A professor stood before his philosophy class and
had some items in front of him when the class began,
he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty
mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf
balls. He then asked the students if the jar was
full. They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and
poured them into the jar he shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the
golf balls. He then asked the students again if the
jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and
poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled
up everything else. He asked once more if the jar
was full. The students responded with an unanimous
"yes".
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from
under the table and poured the entire contents into
the jar effectively filling the empty space between
the sand. The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor as the laughter subsided,
"I want you to recognize that this jar represents
your life. The golf balls are the important
things---God, your family, your children, your
health, your friends and your favorite
passions---and if everything else was lost and only
they remained, your life would still be full. The
pebbles are the other things that matter like your
job, your house and your car. The sand is
everything else---the small stuff."
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he
continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the
golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all
your time and energy on the small stuff you will
never have room for the things that are important
to you."
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to
your happiness. Play with your children. Spend time
with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take
time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out
to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be
time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
Take care of the golf balls first---the things that
really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just
sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired
what the coffee represented. The professor smiled
and said, "I'm glad you asked."
"The coffee just shows you that no matter how full
your life may seem, there's always room for a couple
of cups of coffee with a friend."

Limitations live only in our minds.  But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.

The human brain is a truly wonderful organ that starts working the moment you are born, and never stops again until you stand up to speak in public or post on a forum.
