Verified by the carrier that the claims I worked for C&S Claim Service fee bills were paid to C&S (no revisions needed), and Verified by the insureds that they were paid on their claims, I still have not been paid my 65% fee bills.  Richard Kramer talked a lot about Integrity and Doing the Right Thing by paying adjusters quickly, but has YET to pay me or even return a phone call to me.

Pretty aweful way to treat people.

God is watching you, Mr. Kramer or is it Cramer???

Perhaps you should have read the warnings posted several times, both on the vendor page and on the comment page.

I'm still out a significant amount of money for claims done in 2007, in NE PA.

And its Cramer, as in Richard Cramer and Bud Starr, A/K/A C&S Claims.

Check the archives for my post titled “IF THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO YOU".  I wrote an update a few days back. As I have said time and again UNTIL ADJUSTERS COME TOGETHER AND TAKE ACTION UNSCRUPULOUS VENDORS WILL CONTINUE TO THRIVE. What is ironic is that there are many posts on the site complaining about lack of payment, but I have not had a single reply to my post regarding the letter to the Congress sub-committee. Anyone can moan but few have the courage to fight back.

I think we as adjusters should form a co-op with an attorney on retainer for handling these situations. The more adjusters that get involved the less money it would cost each individual. I would look forward to discussing this further, if anyone was interested. I can see this becoming a very powerful tool in our arsenal for collecting deliquent funds. Please post your ideas.

Joe,

The concept is great, the problem is that most all of the adjusters are naught but sheep ,that need to be led to the fodder, rather than seek out and find the truth.

When, and only when, the masses decide to collaborate and give credence to this profession will things change.

Until then, the call to arms is "Blaaaaah"

I am working a desk claim verifying the adjusters estimate, He uses Xactimate and defines the current price list, however when I pull up the price list from Xactimate it is different that the one the adjuster uses, same number just different prices, I have seen where an adjuster puts his own prices in the price list and claims it is Xactimate price list, I do not think that this is ethical, has the profession lowered its standards, this is a problem which I will forward to the licensing board after calling the claims adjuster. Is this a common practice among insurers to change price list numbers?

This is kind of off-topic, and the same question was posted on 2 other threads, here and here. Please continue the conversation on those threads, not this one.

North American Adjusters: I worked for this company for over a year and boy did I get shafted. I busted my butt doing daily claims for these guys and was out a fortune in gas expenses and hotel bills. They drag their feet when it came to paying me and when confronted they put the blame elsewhere. They still owe me over a grand from claims completed in January. I just want to warn my fellow adjusters before taking employment with this company. They want to get rich at your expense.

Beware!
