How many carriers will pay an extra $25 or so for a 2 story inspection? Granted the roofer's charge for the 2 story roof will increase the gross loss, but for the same size house, the 2 story roof is smaller. It is more work (and more danger) for me to take out my heavier two story ladder and climb up two stories instead of one.
Does the vendor have to be pushed to include this extra, or do the good vendors insist on it or include it automatically in their negotiations with the carrier?
Should the extra fee be split, or if the vendor adds their own "technology" fee on the bill that they don't split, shouldn't this fee go 100% to the adjuster?
How about an extra charge for 9/12 pitch and up?
