I have been considering joining NACA as an apprentice. I'm hesitent in doing so as the cost is expensive. Before I shell out $200 can anyone give some input on the program. Do any of you actualy call on any of the apprentices to assist you?

    Thanks
    Frank

I can tell you that NACA is a premier organization
NACA holds a well respected and well deserved position in our beloved industry

I am not going to mince words,

A new adjuster asking if it's worth it to "SHELL OUT 200 BUCKS", is asking for a guarantee, you will never have anything guaranteed except that one day you will die !!Holding an adjuster's license does not guarantee work , the person holding the license dictates whether you will work
When you paid for your license course, did you ask "Is it worth it to pay for my training courses ?"

If you are the type of person who is looking for a guaranteed return on your investment, brother , your in the wrong industry !!

The only person who can tell you with any degree of certainty whether it is worth it is ..................YOU !!

Whilst 200.00 dollars is alot of money

in terns of the cost of doing business in the adjusting industry, 200.00 is but a drop in the bucket for the "PRIVILIGE" of being a part of a fantastic Association such as NACA.

Whether or not you will be called upon in the Apprentice program can NOT be answered by anyone other than you, simply put, if you want people to invest in you , you must first invest in yourself !

Being a part of the Apprentice program is but one of many benefits of membership in NACA, but your attitude and actions will decide if it's worth it !

    Hey friend

I understand the apprehension , as with all new adjusters it is indeed hard to differenciate between those opportunities that are essential for the new adjuster and those that are offered from the new industry popping up that it's main goal is to exploit and separate the new adjuster from their money.

NACA is NOT there to exploit you , it is there to guide you, it is indeed a juggernaut of our industry and those who participate in any NACA program are definitilely going in the right direction. IMHO
