I have never been in the HR department of a very large vender; but if I had I could write the final chapter on a book I will never write and thats what this post covers. Iwas trained by three people who were upper management of a very large property and casualty company. I had hundreds of hours training as a fire and inland adjuster after being an auto/casualty adjuster for three years.
I have tried to help more than 300 new people for about 10 years(for free). Less than 5% are still making a living as a cat. adjuster. Many of the people never worked one loss in their life and got paid one cent. I do not know if any purchased one of the the used books that I still have. People want to make money fast; but are too lazy to learn by reading books.
If the venders and carriers do not screen out new people who are not competent to complete a damaged estimate on building and contents for damage/destruction..... the attempt will be seen , over & over.
