I am a new adjuster.  I am on numerous CAT rosters.  I am concerned that I may receive multiple assignments from some or all of these IA firms when an event occurs.  I do not want to jeopardize any of these relationships.  What is the best way to prevent this?  Thank you.

I wouldn't worry about multiple assignments for a CAT being a problem. You almost certainly will get multiple calls if another event similar to either of the storms this year happens in 2018. You just have to go with the firm that suits you best, and be honest and let the others know that you are already committed. IA firms should understand.

Don't worry about it. You become more valuable with experience. Tap into the first opportunity that presents itself, and afterwards many more will follow.
