CADO lost one of its greatest friends and assets in Dave Hood. Dave was a stand up kind of man that I admired greatly. His knowledge of the business was second to none. His kindness and willingness to share his knowledge, helped not only me, but many others over the years. I will truly miss his swagger and him calling me Swabee. "Fair Winds and Following Seas" my friend.

I was in email contact with Dave no more than a month ago.  A great asset to CADO and the insurance industry will be missed.

I had the pleasure to have the advice of Dave a few years ago when taking on a new business. He was a young thinker, embracing new technology and ideas while still very wise with experience. That was the quality I admired most in him and is so hard to find. He was a great asset to adjusters and friends. He will be missed!

I want to express my sympathy to Darlene and all of Dave's family. The loss of Dave, one of the true gentleman of this world will be felt by many, and the loss is a loss to those who would have known Dave in the future.

Dave was a great support to me earlier this year when I was faced with the heartbreak of divorce. His concern, advice and counseling was a generous gift that he made to me. My family and friends have wrapped their arms around me and held me up when I had no strength. Dave offerred his arms and strength and wisdom. I feel and hear him still.

Thank you Dave for all you gave to me .

With Love
