    Hello everyone.

I am new to Xactimate software coming from Simsol. I am trying to figure out how to attach my FCN number to the final report on a flood claim and am coming up with nothing. As you all are probably well aware, the differences between the two softwares are notable.

Also, when printing how can I attach the estimate to all the other reports for my final estimate? I figured out how to attach PDF documents and all the other reports but I have yet to find how to attach my items estimate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Chase

    Chase,
Regarding the FCN # - you need to go to into the estimate and then to Insured Info>Personnel>Claim Rep>Edit Claim Rep and enter your FCN number there.

Also, be sure you are using the correct estimate type – FEMA Flood.

As far as printing, go to the Print function, select the Estimate Reports>Print Options and check all the boxes there, that is what prints your estimate. Then the next tab, Claim Reports is where you select more documents, such as Billing Sheets, Final Report, etc… The next tab is Documents. Select Attached Docs and you can add your scanned docs here (such as the signed handbook receipt.)

After you have these items done, at the bottom of the pop up window, you should be able to print as a pdf or email it (or upload, if that is available) to whomever you are reporting to.

I know it is difficult going from the seamless world of Simsol to the scattered approach of Xactimate. It is less of an issue if the claim comes in with much of the data pre-populated.

    Good luck!
    Dale
