Well I bought and read the textbook "Florida Adjusters Study Manual 27th Edition" and it was a total waste of time and money. The book is out of date and structured and written for someone pursuing their Insurance Agent/Underwriters license. The incredibly confusing writing style of the author made it impossible to successfully understand the material well enough to pass the 100 test questions in the back of the book. Additionally, everything I'm reading online confirms that the Florida State exam is very difficult and most people don't pass it the first time.

So I've resolved to go ahead and purchase an online course that automatically exempts you from the state exam upon successful completion.

I've narrowed my choices down to 4 online courses and wondering if anyone on this forum has taken or has opinions on any of the following vendors and/or their courses?

    Adjusterpro: http://www.adjusterpro.com/insuranc...uster.html

    We Train Adjusters: https://www.wetrainadjusters.com/online-adjuster-training-courses

    AE21: http://lms.ae21online.com/catalog/course.asp?id=66510&cid=19904

    St Petersburg College: https://spcollege.augusoft.net/index.cfm?method=course.classinformation&coursenumber=ISN0138

All 4 of these vendors' courses are within the $250-300 price range, and all 4 qualify for state exam exemption after successfully completing and passing the course.

Any opinions or advice is appreciated.

UPDATE: May 26, 2018: I finally choose the AE21online.com adjusters course I mentioned in a previous post, and have recently finished and passed the online course. Unfortunately, the course was also a disappointment as was the Adjusters Manual I purchased prior. Although the online course was easier to understand (making it easier to pass the chapter quizzes and final exam), than the textbook, the course material was also out of date and the large amount of grammatical errors (I stopped keeping track after noting over 300 errors) created a very confusing study experience. It seem like no one ever took the time to edit or correct all the grammatical errors in this course, ever. I'm not referring to spelling mistakes, there were actually very few of those. I'm talking about errors that made the course material difficult or impossible to logically understand. Also, there were no audio or video interactive lessons during this course as I had hoped for. It was simply really dry course material from a software program. However as I mentioned above, the online course did make it easier to absorb and retain the material and apply it to the quizzes and final exam. I also heard from a friend that the wetrainadjusters.com course is equally as boring and poorly constructed. If anyone has any experience with another online course please post your comments below. Thanks
