Where did all the adjusters go? Has the past two years pushed a lot of IA's outta the adjusting business?

Yeah, you do have to wonder.  Just look how thrilled some of us were to see DM post a little old hail/whatever loss on a modular from Western Nebr.  FYI... more storms with tornadoes rolling thru Nebr this evening.  But if it ain't Omaha or Lincoln, you're talking small towns or out in the country.  So it'll be a lot of the local rusty staff handling the brunt of it.  It's been calm for the most part around here the past couple years.

Lots of activity this year so far. Midwest seems to get hit with hail every week. The storms over Memorial Day weekend did a number on some areas up here in MN. Big Red already has 5k claims from the MN tornadoes/hail.

I agree there has been more activity this year both in Nat Cat and Man cats (product recalls, factory fires, oil spills). I have seen more adjusters deployed in the last two months then I saw deployed in the last six months of 07.
