Are there any adjusters who have completed ICAP and will it help getting deployed?

    ................................

Hello friend, I am ex-Infantry (11B) The ICAP concept is relatively new and as such I have not seen somebody complete the designation...yet.

    Nevertheless,

It seems to be a great opportunity for my fellow veterans using chapter 30/31 funds (GI Bill/Voc Rehab)

Under normal circumstances I would not promote any training program that costs as much as the ICAP designation for my fellow veterans because there is no guarantee of employment for our newly licensed brethren.

However, the ICAP designation offers successful vets who complete the designation employment with participating vendors.

If you want to know more about the designation, shoot me an email at: Robby@FOATA.net

    Howdy,
Like you, I am a Veteran. I completed the ICAP program last month. They have put a heck of a lot of good work into the ICAP program and I am certain the graduates are well prepared to enter into the field of claims adjusting. Some highlights for me were: Xactimate28 training and certification, roof and interior scoping, State Farm estimatics certificate, and Louisiana Citizens certificate, to name a few. Also, lots of networking. I'd be glad to share more insights. Please feel free to email me at: Doug@CatResponder.com
    Good luck!

Doug, I was under the impression graduates are placed with certain vendors. Is that not true?

ICAP is a brand new program, very well put together. Like any new program there will always be little bits and pieces that need to be adjusted. It is unreal how much we have been taught in the class. It truly is non stop information being thrown at you. I would have to say being a vet and using the G.I. bill for it, yes great idea! Now out of pocket would have been a different story for me.

Worley came into our class for 2 weeks. (best two weeks of the class) Really set us up for success. We were told that being STUDENTS OF THE CLASS, that our class would be on the "priority" list for Worley. I really can't say much more detail then that because things could change in the future for ICAP.

Melissa,Livia, and Booker... everyone that works behind the scenes did an overall great job. They will help you get where you want to go. You really can't get this much schooling without traveling from state to state or taking breaks in between and heading back the same way.

Have the time.. need to use the G.I. Bill... take it. Well worth it.
