| Which Hurricane should we work? With Hanna and now Ike on top of everything else. I bet Citizens of Fl should be in full panic mode with the rest of the insurance industry. Should adjusting fee bills spike with supply and demand just as the price of gas has? I am now taking bids for my services as everyone else should be doing. Let the market set the price. Don't laugh or smirk at this post. Give it some thought. How many offers have you received in the last 48 hours? Thats demand!!

| Hi everyone. A newbie here. I hope you all can help me. I have a small junk/debris removal service based in Asheville, NC and I'd like to get some Insurance company contracts for hurricane and ice storm cleanup in the southeast (ie. a big crescent shape from louisana to the NC coast, and everything south.) I saw some of my neighbors being price gouged in FL in 2004 and I don't want to be associated iwth "contractors" who do that. I really believe that I can charge a fair price, help the victims, and still make a good living. Can any of you give me some help and/or suggestions on winning Insurance companies' business? | PS. I forgot to mention that by "cleanup" I mean removal of fallen trees, general debris, etc....not water mitigation or anything like that....I AM insured for demolition as well, but I just prefer to do that close to home due to all the variables. Thanks Again For Your Help, Jesse | | | |

| AS Jim Flynt use to say "Know before you go". I hope everyone has a copy of any and all fee schedules they will be working under along with something on a piece of paper which clearly outlines when you get PAID!!!
I only work for companies which I already have a prior relationship with. I know their checks always clear the bank and I always get paid propmptly. | | | |

It's nice to be noticed. This economy killed the ole small town law business. Everyone needs a lawyer they just don't have the money to pay one right now. I have been climbing roofs all summer in Atlanta and became just another "lurker" on CADO. Thought it might be a good time to jump back into the CADO fray again.

| Jesse, I believe those cleanup crews are contrcted through FEMA. My brother has a small construction company, and he put out a couple crews under his bond. And I believe he said they contract with FEMA. You might call FEMA and see if they can direct you.
