I'm up for that.  I just re-subscribed to XM 25 and would be happy to do data entry for folks.  I'm currently in the Baton Rouge area writing claims for pretty much the remainder of this week (9/8-9/12) I'm guessing and will then be returning home to Dallas, at which point I should be available for data entry work.

Rates may be negotiable depending on the amount of data, but approx $50 per claim would be a starting point for me to work from.

Have anyone who needs help contact me at:  adjuster_jones@yahoo.com

Many Thanks!

I think your off base on what you want.  I think 5 bucks per file is in line for entering NOL info

If you don't know the person doing it for you, and you don't know their reliability...any price may be too much.   Comes down to one's comfort level, I suppose.  Personally, I'd have a real hard time because I'd probably spend as much time double-checking the paperwork compared to having done it myself the first time thru.  Have to admit though, it can be a winner if you have a good teammate and are on the same page.

A "winner" perhaps but where should those figures really fall? There is quite difference between $50 and $125. There must be some kind of accepted parameters for this kind of work, or is it really just what someone is willing to pay or accept?

...There must be some kind of accepted parameters for this kind of work...

Most adjusters do their own inspections, write their own estimates based upon what they see with their own eyes. That is what you would want to have happen if it was your house that was damaged.

Filling in the name, address, claim # is not the bottleneck, and with some carriers is an automatic "admin download" that fills in that info automatically.

I am of the opine, Power Claim, Simsol and Entergra can be taught to a person with medium computer skills in less than one day. The person who taught the new person could iron out all the kinks in 2 days and after 3 days the paper would really flow. The "doctor" and the doctors assistant could close some files. *** xmate, excepted.

Now the assistant is paid about what a good assistant is paid in any business and it is sure is not 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 1/5  of what the adjuster makes because it takes a real adjuster five years to get to this point.$25.00 per hour is fair.but an hourly wage of $25. Get local people who live in the city and you can find very good helpers for this wage.

You do not need someone who wants to be an adjuster, just any good worker will do. I pay people $12.00 per hour to make appointments and write up log notes, and most are night clerks at the motel.
