I would like to know the best way to cover my continuing education requirements so I do not lose my license.  Anyone know a place I can go near Tallahassee Florida to get this continuing ed done?

Also, what do I have to take in a 2 year period to keep it active

Kyle,

Go to this website and do it all online at home.  All CE's can be done in a day...

Depends on if you are wanting to work storm/Cat losses only, or work the run-of-the-mill daily claims, or both.  Seems to me the priorities become pretty obvious based on your needs.  Are you working claims already?  If you are, ask your manager which classes will benefit you most.  If not, take those classes that cover the broadest base...the commercial property, homeowner/auto, etc..  Or it you want steady inside work, the Work Comp field.  Not sure I'd wish anyone luck though to land a WC claims job in Florida.

Thanks alot for helping me the "newbie"

No I am not working claims but do not want to lose the status of my license.  Currently I work in the IT field as a computer nerd for a few insurance adjustor firms.  The people there talked me into getting it because they think my computer skills would lend itself nicely to the adjustor field.

so I did, got the certification
