ATLANTA (March 11, 2011) — Crawford & Company (NYSE: CRDA; CRDB), the world’s largest
independent provider of claims management solutions, has acquired the assets of ClaimHub Inc., a leading
provider of claims workflow solutions for the property and casualty insurance market.

"The acquisition of ClaimHub demonstrates our continuing commitment to providing a market-leading
product," said Jeffrey T. Bowman, Crawford president and chief executive officer. "We believe ClaimHub’s
technology will allow us to expand our product offering and further enhance our ability to interface with
clients."

ClaimHub’s current staff has been offered positions at Crawford and will continue to develop advanced claim
technology and service existing ClaimHub clients, said Kevin Frawley, chief executive officer, Property &
Casualty – Americas.  "The ClaimHub team brings many years of development experience to Crawford and
will be an exceptional addition as we seek to grow Vehicle Services," Frawley said.

ClaimHub, established in 2000 and based in Overland Park, Kan., provides a web-based, centralized claims
