Cupolas are generally small and labor intensive. The are decorative in nature and are best estimated by using a time and materials Lump Sum estimate with and explanation detailing the work and time expencted to properly complete the work.

Some cupolas have a pyramid or oriental roof design. Most cupolas are small and need only a small amount of laminated shingles. Cliff Coppedge
(Worley)told me he had read 20% waste factor for cupolas in a roof manual. I hope this will help.
