The claims for STF are drying up pretty quickly. They have split NO into two sections (Westbank and Eastbank). There will be Eastbank (flooded) claims popping up for months-but they have plenty of cr's over there. The Westbank will probably be done in around month-but they will keep a few cr's around. I live around a bunch of people working Allstate-and there are alot more claims open over there-but I think they have too many cr's as it is.

Alot of adjustors are working for law firms. You may want to try a few of them advertised on the radio.

Jake, I have heard some say there are law offices with thousands and thousand of claim files to be reviewed/rescoped. Is this in line with what you have heard?

As an adjuster and private investigator for 25 years, this business is like any other...be carefull about "working both sides of the street"..Insurance companies have long memories !!! Plantiff work will eventuallylead you deposed and embroiled in litigation against the same people you hope to get claims from 1-2-3 years down the road. Being deployed and told you need to be in N.O., Biloxi, FLA, etc. to testify or for depositions for the next 6 years...will not improve your bottom line. FOOD FOR THOUGHT !! GOD BLESS AMERICA & OUR TROOPS !! Dave Sumner

Well I know there is some as I'm doing a little here and there. I'm also being told that re-inspections should be starting to increase soon, but there is not enough yet that I'm needing any help. It is nice to have some company along & it is a good time for doing some sharing of experience with while it is slow. Good bit of advise Dave on some of the negative posibilities! Jim

Is there still alot of adjusters out there awaiting several thousands of dollars for completed claims? The TPA I worked for owes me a small fortune ($50,000 +.) If so let me know some possible avenues to pursue, as Louisiana is a very hard state to act legally in. Thanks for the help

There's a thread that deals with non-payment by a company. Please post your information there. Name names and dates and companies so others can learn from your experience.
