It is possible to widen the types of files we can upload?  Right now, I see only a few are supported.  Extensions such as: doc, xls and pps would allow posters to upload documents that contain good information.

For example, Kevin Hromas had a flood spreadsheet he was willing to upload.  The convenience factor of uploading documents to the post instead of having to go to the gallery to find it would be nice.  Power Point presentations can contain a good slide show of how to do something.

Also, Power Claim has some good video tutorials that could be uploaded directly to a forum post where someone is having trouble with a certain feature.

Just a thought...

I don't remember... I was able to upload a Word doc in one.  I think it was certain one's that weren't changed.  No biggie, I wouldn't even worry about it.
