Beware of the ESA in VA Beach it is one of the older properties and the facility has not been maintained well. I have found a beach place for 1/2 the cost of the esa and it has a ocean view with balcony. It is twice as large and how often do you get to stay in an ocean front place to adjust claims. I can write up claims looking over the Atlantic and thank her for the work, not to mention the beach babes walking past on the boardwalk. The traffic in the area is a little rough but we are use to traffic. If any of you are interested private message me and I'll get you the phone number and address of the 3 places there. Maybe one Sunday afternoon we can all meet and greet on the sand for a beach social.......so we can put faces with names. Good luck to all.

AllCat... I like the last statement. I learned that the hard way. Went out to dinner one eveing with about 15 files I had completed that day on the desk, bed etc. Came back to find them all arranged for me in one nice little pile. Of course NOT IN ORDER.

How much are rooms? I have heard every thing is going for about $100 a night. I am still deciding about heading down there. How does the damage look in that area?

The claims are not bad average so far that I have looked at is $3000-$6500, the size I like and they are plentiful, If you can see 6-10 a day the venders will keep feeding you all you want. The rooms are already booked at the place I am staying but at $675 a month what do you expect, this is the begining of the slow season here and winter rates are kicking in. many are going back to summer rates because of demand. the esa is $299 a week, but it is rat-ie. Gonna play on the beach Sunday(my off day) there is a big celebration the Neptune Festival going on this week and it peaks Sunday... concerts, surfing competition, sand castles championship....party all along the beach.

Lets all meet Sunday after next (10-4) at 21st and Atlantic. Down from the fishing peer. Kind of a meet and greet at 2:oopm ???? Any takers.

Allcat, I have my wife and kids with me. Is the ESA that bad? We have been here for four days and have not stayed in the same room two nights in a row. I finally got reservations at the VA Beach ESA for Sunday. Let me know how bad it really is. Thanks

IM STAYING IN THE MARJAC, THEY STILL HAVE A FEW ROOMS, OF COURSE THE BARGAN ROOMS ARE GONE BUT I THINK THE RATE NOW IS $273 A WEEK THE # IS 757-425-0100 , THERE ARE SEVERAL HOTELS AND SUITES ALONG THE BEACH LOOK ON YOUR DELOREME, IT HAS THE #S FOR THE IN YOUR POI'S IF MARJAC IS FULL TRY THE AMBASSADOE OR DOLPHIN INN I THINK THEY STILL HAVE ROOMS AVAILABLE. GOOD LUCK. THE CLAIMS I HAVE ARE SMALL ($3500) BUT THEY ARE MY FAVORITE KIND, YOU CAN SCOPE 8 OR 9 EACH MORNING AND BE BACK TO THE ROOM BY 12 - 1 AND IN THE BOX BY 5 OR 6. AND WHEN YOUR ON THE BEACH IT IS NICE NOT TO HAVE TO KILL YOURSELF AND ENJOY FOR ONCE......SOME AREAS I HAVE HEARD ARE HIT A LOT WORSE THAN THE ZIP I HAVE BUT I DONT MIND THE SMALL ONES EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE.

sorry about the caps, didn't mean to yell.

Lots of rooms in Virgina Beach in the resort area and also on Ocean view in Norfolk, if you are north of here, I understand rooms are rarer and more expensive.

Lot of rental available on Atlantic Avenue in VB. You should have no trouble finding a place to stay.
