One of my clients for daily assignments has requested that I find a nationwide electronics recovery company. Apparently, they have been getting hit with lightning and electrical surge claims that they are needing assitance with. They are wanting a company that will travel to and from the risk, collect the "damaged" electronics, and pay the insurance company a nominal price for the salvage. They are really wanting to avoid the insured getting paid for new items, then retaining the old (that may still work). If anyone has any recommendations, let me know.

Thanx,

Bob Morris

You gotta be kidding...back in the good ol' days when men were men, and women appreciated us...and that's a long time ago, a real live field adjuster would take the salvage in the trunk of his full size sedan then dump it in the claims office dumpster after putting his size 12-D brogan thru the front of it.

Ain't that a good enough way to do business any more?

DOSE THE COMPANY UNDERSTAND THAT USED APPLIANCE ARE NOT THAT HOT OF RESALE ITEM ... AND I HAVE WORKED SEVERAL CLAIMS WERE THE INSURED TRYED TO CLAIM THE SAME APPLIANCE AGAIN AND I ALWAYS COPY THE SER NUMBER FOR REFERENCE .... IF YOU COULD HAVE THEM KEEP UP WITH SER NUMBERS THEY WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM AGAIN ... I HAVE A AUCTION LIC AND PICK UP SALVAGE FOR A INSURANCE COMPANY AND 9 X OUT OF 10 CO END UP PAYING FOR SERVICE OF THE DISPOSAL OF THE ITEMS ... BUT CAN CALL ANY AUCTION CO IN STATE THAT YOU ARE WORKING AND THEY WILL AUCTION THEM OFF FOR A FEE OF 12 TO 20 % PLUS SERVICE .... GOOD LUCK
