Integri Claim has a new version 6.53 currently being mailed. Has anyone installed it? Is it an improvement over 6.51?

Not much of an improvement, but worth installing. Janice and I have been on it for two months and have had no problems. I understand a new release is just down the road, with great improvements and usability issues.

Oh boy, More improvements. Everytime they improve it, it costs me time and money! I wish they could get it right and leave it alone!

The company I work for utilizes Integriclaim and we just upgraded to 6.53. One of the main problems with the upgrade is now at the bottom of the estimate, it shows if you modified any prices or just couldn't locate something and wrote it in and created your own pricing. This has already caused problems because carriers are asking "Why did you not go with the regional price?" Most everything is in the database, but you just have to know how to find it.

This is the first time I have posted to this forum, but thot' I'd try to get my two cents worth in. I have used Integriclaim since early 1999 and after I finished up this year (with 6.53), I realized I had experienced more aggravation with the program than in years past. I don't know if it was the fact I had been away from flood claims for a year while experiencing the wonderful world of mold from a control adjuster's point of view, or if it was what I perceive as a less friendly flood database. The newer versions (since the change to M&S/B) do not have the basic items that I believe a flood claim requires, i.e. mucking out, etc. Also, I found my options re repair vs. replacement had been predetermined and could not be altered. None of the insureds I helped were impressed with the idea of trying to repair a 13" TV/VCR combo that had been under three feet of water. I will probably stay with Integriclaim, but I am open to looking at other programs (with the exception of Xactimate) for the first time in years.
