I have had the opportunity to speak with many adjusters over the years and I have always enjoyed listening to their perspectives on price databases. I would like to begin a new thread to discuss price databases and what all of you like and dislike about the current databases on the market. I welcome comments on all databases including contents databases as well. Some things you may want to address in your responses are:

- Pricing (too high, too low, just right)
- Database edit capabilities (flagging of edited line items in an estimate)
- Single databases with regional factoring (% up or down) versus individual databases per region
- Number of items in databases (comprehensive enough or not)
- Mold databases (lack of mold related items and validity of existing mold databases)
- Depreciation schedules (validity of depreciation by year)
- Accuracy of contents databases

Please give both positive and negative comments as I really would like to hear both sides of the database issue. Thanks in advance for sharing those thoughts.
