Please review the following email which I received this afternoon from Rebecca Fussell, Executive Director of the FWUA in response to an email which I had send to FWUA earlier inquiring about major personnel changes in the claims department at FWUA:

******************************

July 12, 2002

As you know, the Florida Windstorm Underwriting Association is merging with the Florida Residential Property and Casualty Joint Underwriting Association to become Citizens Property Insurance Corporation (Citizens) on August 1, 2002.

In recent weeks, there have been some important personnel changes, unrelated to the merger, within the FWUA Claims Department. A few weeks ago, Tim Wagner, our Catastrophe Coordinator, accepted a position with USAA as a Manager in Houston, TX. Sid Foster has assumed the role of Catastrophe Coordinator, and will be responsible for deployment of MERV during a catastrophe. He has many years of experience with the FWUA.

Just this week, I learned that Paul Binkley and Bill Griffin would be leaving the FWUA to pursue other opportunities. As you might imagine, we want to ensure you that we are ready to handle our claims responsibilities during the 2002 storm season. With that in mind, I have asked our Claims Manager, Pam Barrett, to oversee claim operations in Jacksonville. In addition, we have hired several claim consultants to assist us through this catastrophe season.

As we transition into Citizens, we will keep you up to date on any organizational changes to the FWUA structure that might affect claim operations. In the interim, if you have any questions, please contact Pam Barrett at (904) 296-6105 x194.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Fussell
Executive Director
