Status: offline 		Just a note to explain what's going on.  I have taken the complete forum offline the last two days for short periods and limited access to some of the more active areas.  The reason?  To re-index the sql database. I do this a few times a year to improve the performance.  It does not help much but ever little bit helps. All forums should be back online within the next hour.
 
I received some emails where visitors were concern that we may be converting into a "members" only site.  While I could do this I have chosen not to. Ever since the first post was made on CADO back in 95 we have had open forums and there are no plans to change this.  This means they are viewable by visitors to the site without a login. While providing an open forum does contribute to my heartburn from time to time I still believe it is the best way to go.
