Very cool. I used them to find the Tivoli Hotel in Biloxi, where I worked for three years before I moved to Minneapolis. The photos are very detailed, and I saw that the hotel had survived, but it appeared like the 2 story motel we had out front is gone. So I Googled Tivoli and Biloxi and found that EIGHT people died in the motel. Evidently a big casino barge (easily located in the photo not far from the hotel) broke loose and smashed into it. I can see why someone might stay in a 5 story hotel that has withstood hurricanes for a hundred years, but why a TWO story motel on Hwy 90? My former boss lives in Pass Christian and I haven't been able to contact her yet, but I'm hoping if/when I can contact her she might have me come done there to shoot pictures of her property damage. She'll probably just have me shooting 360 degree panoramas on the ground, but I'm really hoping to find a contact down there to buy a few aerials from me or pay for a few hours of helicopter time in exchange for copies of the panoramas. I’m the only person in the world that does full 360 degree panoramas from a helicopter. Check out my website at http://BigEyeInTheSky.com/ The newspaper reporter who did a front page story about me last month in the St. Paul Pioneer Press (the second largest newspaper in Minnesota) described it as “hovering superhero-like” in mid-air over a city. While my aerials are never going to be a substitute for something like those NOAA photos, they do give you more of a "really being there" feel. I think they'd be very useful to someone trying to document their damage from Katrinia. Ed Fink 651-483-1557 Ed@BigEyeInTheSky.com http://BigEyeInTheSky.com/ http://NEW-EDEN.com/
