Move PDF files (or any other type) quickly without Email and Free

FileZilla is in use by some vendors working the hurricanes and there are other FTP client and server apps in use I am sure so they can completely side step having to email claims and the speed and other roadblocks to moving megabyte size files.

This being an open source solution could make it even more interesting for those that like something for nothing, well a donation would be in order if the solution puts cash in your pocket or keeps you from pulling out all of your hair (if you have any left). Below are some tid bits of info from a Google search if you are in the market for such an animal.

Software Publisher’s Description - FileZilla is an FTP program for file upload and download to your FTP site, FTP server, or FTP host. FileZilla lets you transfer files and navigate among folders, Web sites, and your computer. This software enables you to perform multiple file transfers simultaneously. Version 2.2.8c features a few bug fixes and improvements.

One review - Sure there are more "elegant" clients out there, and I've used smartftp myself, which is a great piece of work, don’t get me wrong, but if you need something small, fast, efficient, and heck, even multithreaded, then this is the only ftp client you'll ever need. With a clean, and simple interface, lightening fast transfer speeds, and on top of everything, a freeware -- what more can you ask for? Tim saved FTP as we know it! :) It seems that all the great software (and/or ideas) is originating from Germany. Keep up the good work, can’t wait for version 3.0.

Another - I lost my original FTP program when I had to restore my computer to factory condition. In searching for a new FTP program, I found that most had a price tag attached. FileZilla is free and it's super-easy for the git-go. If you're looking for a program to upload pics, this is the one.

Another - This is a very good FTP program, I reccomend it, it was very stable, unlike many other FTP programs that I've used. It's a keeper. I've found a new FTP program.

Another - It is a good ftp program, does most of the functions as the paid one does. Good, recommended!

OK, Larry now it reads tid bits. :)

This is a different twist on the use of PDF files. Has anyone tried this package? If so did you find it helpful?

I have been using FileZilla for about a year now (mostly on CADO) and it is a great program.  Before FileZilla I was using WS FTP Pro for moving files.

There are other solutions as well.  If you have a paperless system (many of them out there) and allow adjusters to connect to your VPN, it would then be possible to print the file right into the paperless system or drag and drop (by printing it in the system, it simply means importing).

Then a task could be made to the examiner to review the file at the carrier.  Have each carrier you do work for set up on a separate "drawer" and only have access to their drawer.  May sound confusing but it really isn't.  It's really amazing at the time saving a system like this does.
