I just purchased PhotoRocket Express and wanted to pass along my praises for both the product and the service delivered to me. The product literally saves 10-15 minutes per claim (when working with Xactimate,) and is a one time purchase with ongoing upgrades provided. I purchased multiple copies and healthy discounts were applied. I cannot say thank you enough to Karen & David for providing such world class support. It was truly an enjoyable experience, especially after dealing with the above mentioned estimating support the last month… If you’re looking for a nice/ simple digital imaging program you can’t go wrong with this product, in my opinion. http://www.minuteclaim.com/photorocket_express.htm Barry Barbee

Barry, can you be more specific how doing your photos outside of Xactimate saves you net time over doing them in Xactimate? How do you get them back into the Xactimate claim and keep Xactnet happy? Having some web and phone experience in working with Karen and David I can agree with your assessment of both.

I use 2002 and 24 (although the imaging process on 24 is much more friendly) and have found that when using either product the use of this (photo rocket express) product basically lets you import the images once, label them and print the PDF within minutes. I timed it last night and a 40+ image file from start to finish was less the 10 minutes. I immediately save the PDF image file to CD and when it’s time to upload, it’s right there complete; it seems to keep my mind focused on estimating only when it needs to be. 2002 – The imaging is this product is simply painful… 24 – The system resources this product ties up is painful… The imaging product also resizes and places the file in very professional format. The only complaint I have is it prints the product name across the top. I’ve had no objections to this, so this may be a personal issue here. A imaging process/ product like this virtually eases the pain of both the above mentioned cases. Hope this answered your question, Gale. My focus on the task at hand is increased dramatically due to not having to go back and forth dealing with images as I’m writing up the estimate.

Thanks Barry for your detailed answer. Time is money or what we trade for money.
