After reading the price about discounts on Simsol for CADO members... it rendered me thinking...

Do any software vendors offer discounts to users each year?  For example, you purchase Software A for a year. When it comes time for that to expire, if the user buys another year do they get a discount off of what they originally purchased it for?  That way each year you use the same consecutive software, the price decreases by a small margin.

Eventually you would have to draw a line where no more discounts would be taken but it seems like that would be a nice perk about a program if it became less expensive the more years you used it consecutively.  This may already be an active business practice for some but was just curious as to whom practiced it and if not would anyone consider this?

Thanks,

I can tell you Integri and Xact do not but we are all aware of their customer service satisfaction rating.  They know that you have to purchase the software no matter what so why offer a discount.

Here is my discount.....
Used integriclaim for 2 months because C/L required it.....
Compared rate of closings during that 2 months to the 1st 2 months last season and estimated it cost us over $15,000 per month in lost income using integriclaim.
Left C/L for a company who let us use Simsol! I figure the increase in income due to the ease of use and more current data base pricing was quite a discount!

Very similiar situation.  I chose only carriers that would accept my Simsol product and I actually made money.

I have been using Xactimate for 12 years and I would like to switch to Simsol.  What company or companies allow Simsol to be used for estimating?

Where did you read about the discount? I have searched the site and forums and can't find anything.

Thanks

Simsol offers a discount to CADO members and a user made a post regarding this earlier today.  I'm not sure if the discount is for paid members or just any registered users
