Well, my gig's up. I have nothing to complain about. It was a good six month run. I applied myself and learned a lot--not only about writing and closing claims (Katrina/Rita), but about other aspects of the business, not to mention new contacts and friends. I can honestly say that I gave my IC and their client company 150% during the long hours and weeks. I was paid well and we even saved some--yeah, I just gave her all the money. I'm never out of a job if I don't want to be, but first, I think I'll do some long awaited upgrades on my own home. Anyone close to south Alabama willing to lend a hand? Let's see; swap out the kitchen faucet, fix the dishwasher, crown mold in the bedroom, knock out a wall or two for new doorway, awnings over those deck doorways before they rot, wallpaper the bathrooms, paint, paint, paint,... See ya around!
