It is with very sad regret that we have lost another fine adjuster. Vince Tabor, of Tom Bean, TX succumbed to a fatal heart attack on July 15, 2006. Having had the pleasure of working with Vince several times, the pain of the loss is very sad. Condolences to his wife and family. The arrangements are not known at this time. Perhaps another can fill in the blanks.

I did not know Vince on a personal level but I do want to wish all of his friends such as Katadjuster and most importantly his family my deepest sympathy. May all of our prayers be with his loved ones.

Vince was a great adjuster and a great man. I spent my first few monthes as an adjuster working with him. He upheld the belief that our duty as an adjuster was to the insured. He will definately be missed. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family. May he never be forgotten. Chris Thomas

Vince was a good man and a super adjuster. We had the pleasure of having Vince work with us on a few storms and had been in touch with him just a few weeks ago about working with us during the upcoming season, needless to say we were totally caught off guard when we learned of his passing this morning. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Our industry lost a man who epitomized all that is good in the adjusting field. He will be truly missed. Scott Clayton

My deep condolences to Vince's family. I have worked a few storms with Vince in the past and know what a quality adjuster he was and even a greater human being. The world will miss him.

I don't even know what to say. Vince was a wonderful person, and was always there for Donna and I, with his friendship and patience . We will miss him terribly. My prayers go out for Jerri and the family.

What a shock when I learned that Vince had passed. Vince and I were close friends and had shared many story telling sessions over the years. Not only was Vince a good adjuster, he was an absolute Prince of a man who would drop everything to help a friend. Vince always had a smile and a positive attitude, even when the going was tough. Although I had not seen Vince for several years since I retired, just a few weeks ago, he called just to visit and ask about fishing, and we had a wonderful visit. I am sure Jerri is devistated, as his boys must also be... He lived to make life better for his family, which was everything to him. Everyone who has ever come in contact with Vince, has suffered a personal loss as has the adjusting industry. Vince has gone to be with the Lord, and we all pray that Jerri and the family receive the Lord's comfort in this trying time. What a sad day ..... Earnheart Funeral Home (903) 364-2215 in the next town over named Whitewright is providing the viewing and service. The service is to be held in Tom Bean at a building in beside the local First United Methodist Church and across from the High School. The address for the church is 7688 State Hwy 11 West , Tom Bean TX 75489.The School address is 7719. The building being used is a red brick 1 story with a flat roof and has no address on it. We will all miss Vince very much. I have known Vince and Jerri since the Spring storms of 2001 when we worked he midwest hail for 4 months straight together. I have had the pleasure of working with them for the last 5 years on various assignments and view them both as not only personal friends but also as a brother and sister. All of us who know them will always have a special place in our heart for them and their family. My prayers go to Jerri and the kids. Tom Buffington

Besides being a wonderful person, Vince Tabor was a fellow Mason, and a proud Marine, and was a wonderful friend to me. We worked storms together, and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to Jerri and the boys, but fortunatly he has gone to a higer place.

Even though I never really worked with Vince, we have met on several occasions, over the years, at different storm sites. He was always a very friendly guy. Since we were both in the Corps, we could always find somthing to "talk" about. Please add my condolences to his family. May God Bless and help them in this time of need. SEMPER FI

Vince has been a very important part of my life. I have looked to him on many occasions for wisdom and friendship. He has guided me through many obstacles, and I believe that I would not be where I am today without him. He always cared about everyone around him, and would do anything to make others' lives better. Many times I would call him or he would call me, and we would just discuss life and how things were going. I truly looked up to the man as more than just the mentor he has been to me. My prayers go out to Jerri, Zane, and Chase. Bryan Holman

Having worked several storms with Vince, I appreciated his enthusiasm, and attitude. He was a A+ adjuster and will be sorely missed. Prayers go out to his family from Janice and I both.

Our condolences to Jerri and family. We only met Vince last year at a dinner our son Chris arranged while we were all working in Florida. We enjoyed meeting this man our son had talked about in such great regard. We saw how much he and Jerri cared for our son which says a lot to a parent. I'm sure he will be missed by all. Thank you Vince for the friendship and guidance you gave to many. Our prayers are with those who your life touched and will continue to touch for eternity. Regretfully, Dave and Doris Marrs, Keller, TX

I was shock when I learned of Vince's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Vince & Jerri during Hurricane Floyd. What a kind, helpful, honest and hard working individual he was. A man of integrity and a man who would always help a young adjuster. My heart goes out to Jerri and the family on their loss. David String
