it seems a shame that there is no standard test that is not tied to one company.. I've been to a couple of storms now and look to cat adjusting as what i want to do in the future, but I found I can go to a major storm, do what I spent many years learning, and becuase I was on a detached assignment, no one knows if I did a good job, all they know is I didnot get sent home and they got their %.. then I sit by the phone and wait. I am proud to be an adjuster and I like to get out into the field. How do we rate those that can adjust and protect the insurers and the public by make sure those going to the storms know what they are doing and can take instructions from the insurer?
