How can you have over 13 years of experience and not have heard of  RJMW?

I have worked for Bob McRorie since TS Allison in 2001.  I have found the following to be true:  always paid on time; always paid proper commission; minimal hold back; always had good support; and most importantly - does what he says he is going to do.  He has kept me very busy through the years & I know plenty of others who have worked for him, that will say the same.  I have worked for several other vendor firms and cannot say the same about them.

Any other questions about RJMW call me or shoot me an email.

To return to the thread, we would like to give Pilot a thumbs up. Their managers and tech support are accessible and helpful.  They pay what they agree to pay, with very rare exception. They had some problems, due to being overwhelmed last year, but didn't we all.

Pilot is one of the few companies that will train new folks and in the 7 years I worked for them I was always treated fairly. I have worked for Tony on two occasions and found him very knowledgable and a very good manager.  When your new to this trade you need to make your bones. When you are on a Cat and working claims, thats the time to show what you are made of and what kind of work ethic you have(regardless of your experience). Ours is not an easy job, show that you are eager to learn and network with other adjusters about leaning the trade.

Yebolu,

I would like to congratulate you for being in line for your sign.  I don't think you're first in line, but you're right up there toward the front.

Greetings from the new guy...after several years of estimating and PM'ing for several roofing companies and GC's I have decided to make the switch...Willinsky, i've been invited to a Pilot Eval later this month and was wondering if you could give me a heads up on what to expect.  I see that you've just recently completed it so I thought that you'd have some good info and maybe some pointers.  Thanks in advance.

Completed the 4 day evaluation in Mobile. Enjoyed the experience and learned alot of things that would save me time and possibly help me provide better service. It was quite a drive...1100 miles round trip and a ticket from a Mississippi Trooper, and a few nights at a questionable establishment. All in all a good experience though and I'd do it again tomorrow if necessary. Thanks to the Knox duo for a great learning experience.

P.S. She is a stickler when it comes to the dress code, but I've never worked anywhere that didn't have a dress code so it's not a big deal to me.

Allstate rates the adjusters on the following scale: A, B, C, D and ND.  These are just like letter grades in school, with ND indicating a non-deployable status.  An ND rating is usually conferred based on performance but other reasons may exist.
I just found out Today That I Got A (  B  ) Rating which I was glad to take... Now Im Waiting For The Deployment Call.

Let's see if I understand it.
1500 A
2500 B
1500 C
I think that might add up to alot of claims for the A-B'S That has got to be a large Cat. needed
Good Luck !!

Congrats on your B grade. That is the highest grade they give on the evaluation at Pilot. They told me you may move up after field work and they have a look at your work.

Congrats on you  B rating Larry. I got the same. I've got a feeling that even with the rating it's still gonna have to be something fairly large before I get called out based on the total number of folks they have on the roster. Perhaps instead of closing claims I should have spent a little more time at the cat managers desk to make sure he knew who I was. Although I hear that it is better if they don't know you because if they don't know who you are obviously you have taken care of your insureds and completed your assignments without incident. Any ideas???

Good For You On Your B Rating, Yes I Do Think Its Going To Be a while before we get any business and I wonder how long before I can get active again. At Least The Rating has been completed. I try to stay active creating scopes and reviewing policy information, There are always storms around and I believe that its just a matter of time before the First Major Storm Hits. The Question is will we be ready to respond at that moment when it arrives. Money Is Always a Factor Here as The Days Go By My Cash Is Getting Smaller. Will have to find ways to make it to a site when it happens. When I was In New Orleans I found myself counting change for breakfeast for a while. But as I started turning in my claims the cash flow increased and it was a great feeling being in the green again. KATRINA gave me the break I needed to get started and I was very thankful for that...
