Anything I post regarding chat can be taken at face value. I have spent a lot of time promoting the use of the chat room.
There is such a diverse group of people here and you may find that chat is all that *I* say it is.
Come see for yourself. But whatever you do, don't ignore the invite, we would like to see your face in the place.

On January 15th/Sunday, The Weather Channel will air a special entitled "It Could Happen Here" it will focus on the effects of a CAT 5 hurricane on New York.

Gale, sent me an email about the current chat room and wanted to know if there was something I could do about the "dumps" as he put it. While I'm checking into the problems follow this link to test a different chat room.
2/12/06 Update:
Moved to a stand alone page
Intergated with forum login.
Login is require. But if you are logged into the site and you should be able to enter the Chat Room without a login.
Be sure you "save login as a cookie" is checked in your forum profile.

I tried it with my regular nickname and it said "already in use." I then tried to log on with the "guest" nickname that was already in the log in field. It acted like it was loading for a minute or so but then said "done" at the bottom of the page without letting me in. I don't think it likes me!

Want a heated discussion...
Let's talk about Mr. Birds post in regards to low balling claims tonight. Everyone come in... it will got hot and heavy but that's the way we like it! I bet we'll get close to the 30 mark tonight. I'm interested in seeing arguments. So both sides of the fence jump into chat.
