ORIGINAL: FatCat quote:
ORIGINAL: NMcCarthy Just to add to the conversation has anyone worked for or known someone who has for the company NADO? Or if anyone could give me some insight to where I could find out some information on this company. NADO is one of those companies that did not pay adjusters and later changed their name. In some cases, I am sure it was the fault of the adjusters themselves, either not scoping claims as they should or turning in bad reports and eventually getting canned. Too many adjusters not doing their job can cause the vendor to lose the account and that leads back to pay issues. However, big part of the problem was not getting paid by the carrier. I don't know if they are still handling claims for this carrier or not. Not sure how they are doing this year. One thing you can do is check into the carriers they have you doing claims for and see what their history is. POE is one of the carriers that they are servicing claims for. A recent post on this board indicated that POE is having problems, so that may not be good. I believe they are running low on claims anyway, so it may be that non of this matters after all. My wife back in Houston (sounds like I have wives in other cities also, doesn't it?) ... let me re-phrase that ... my one and only wife, who is at our residence back in Houston, called to let me know that some company called NADO had phoned the house wondering if I was available for deployment in South Florida. Sounds like people may be leaving (reasons?) and they are looking for people to take their place. Looks like a situation you just want to drop everything and jump right in the middle of, huh?

While researching another topic in the past couple of days here on CADO, I noticed that there were several posts in years past from a multitude of cat adjusters who complained of not being paid by The Appraisal Advantage and then then after the name change, NADO. Believing that where there is great smoke there must be great fire, there are simply far too many negative posts from Appraisal Advantage and NADO adjusters complaining of not being paid for anyone to get me anywhere near one of their assignments. My advice: Avoid these NADO folks like the plague. If the experience of a large number of former adjusters is such that they didn't get paid, what makes you think you would? Just my two cents worth. But what the heck do I know.

I am in a Campground in Pt St Lucie, FLA. There Was the Owner of NADO in a NICELY Graphiced One ton Truck, TWO of my satellite customers have COMPLAINED that they have NOT GOTTEN PAID BY NADO! I think that ALL ADJUSTERS SHOULD ABSOLUTELY Put a HAMMER on these Companies Who do not pay their Adjusters. There are a few Adjusters Who are working for NADO in the same Campground, All three of which have been with the company for a SHORT PERIOD! Roy Estes.
