AOL AOL users that are having problems viewing this site please contact AOL and report the problem and\or use the work around below. Work Around; Launch AOL and then minimize the AOL window. Launch a stand-alone browser like Netscape, Opera, MozillaFirebird or Internet Explorer The problems reported by AOL users appear to be related to how AOL caches web pages. Most people reporting problems are using AOL 9.0 Firewalls The easiest way to prevent viewing problems related to firewalls is to add CatAdjuster.org to your trusted site list. Spam Blockers Be sure CatAdjuster.org is included in your allowed email lists. We use automated processes to send emails when registering and requesting login information. We will not send a request to be added to your list, this is left up to you since you control the Spam Blockers. Pop-up Blockers Please disable Pop-up Blockers We use pop-ups None of the pop-ups contain ads. For example when you click the Login link above it will generate a pop-up. (edit) I know some are having problems and I want to make sure that everything is done to prevent the problems. But we have had some successful visits. Here are the stats for April 2004. Successful Hits For Entire Site 2,114,014 Average Hits Per Day 70,467 Home Page Hits 34,230 Page Views (Impressions) 495,510 Average Per Day 16,517 Dynamic Pages and Forms Views 307,099 Document Views 188,411 Visits 115,020 Average Per Day 3,834 provided by Webtrends

I'm still see visitors that register for an account but never complete the process because they did not confirm their email address by clicking the confirmation link contained in the confirmation email. The reason they did not receive it is because the confirmation email went into their spam folder or was blocked by their spam blocker. So you did not receive the confirmation email or the password email be sure to check your spam blocker folders and settings. We currently have over 30 pending accounts.

There may be a problem posting if you are using Norton Internet Security. To fix this do the following.. Open up the options, go to privacy control, click on custom level and uncheck enable browser privacy. That check box is not allowing your pc to send the cookie, and causing the forum to not accept your post. Zone Alarm users, I'm sure there is a setting somewhere similar that is blocking you also

I found this on another forum using the same forum software we use. quote:
If you're using this program, it can be difficult to select avatars (and perhaps do other things requiring a pop-up). With thanks to KY Bumpkin, here's how to disable it long enough to select your avatar: Norton Intertnet Security 2002 - Open Norton Internet Security
- Click OPTIONS and then INTERNET SECURITY from the drop-down menu
- On the GENERAL tab, select the Radio Button for MANUAL under Startup, and click OK
- Go back to OPTIONS and select Norton Antivirus
- Under the HOW TO STAY PROTECTED section, deselct Enable Autoprotect and Start Auto-Protect at Startup. Then click OK
- Restart your computer and Norton will be disabled.
- Logon to the message boards, click on your profile link, add your avatar as desired.
- Start Norton Internet Security manually and then undo the changes you made above (making "Startup" AUTOMATIC, re-enabling "Auto-Protect" and "Start Auto-Protect at Startup").
