Farm Bureau had their own training facility (SFB Tech) that had over 3 months of training if you took all the classes available for you.  Half were auto related.

Farm Bureau Tech was my first schooling. I attended the whole gambit of training there. Vale Tech is one of the best, and I highly recommend it to all new adjusters. All you adjuster trainees should invest your time and money in as much education that you can get in this profession. Attend as many seminars and meetings that you can. Look up your local or state Independant Adjusters Association and join that group. Knowledge is very important in any profession, but particularily important in this one.

I wanted my money back !

Went to the Earthquake Certification, it was a joke, rates right up there with the NFIP Flood Certification.

To make it even worse, the Vale instructor spent more time telling us all about a product created by him and his son.

Contact Pilot, they also have training for a fair price!

Vale requires a sponsor because of a state requirement for training schools.  If you are self employed, you can sponsor yourself.  You can save a lot if you find your own accomadations.  I'll be there in March.

I attended the Vale Property (Dallas, TX) class last October.  I expect that one's experience with Vale, or any other school, is a function of the instructor you get.  The instructor at our class was Woody Gates and he is awesome.  I went to Vale with high expections.  My expectations were exceeded.  The facility includes a full mock-up house with various types of damage.  Mr. Gates presents a well structured and well paced class.  It is 3 weeks of intensive study covering adjusting, policy language, building construction, etc.  The HO3 policy is covered in detail.  Based on my experience, I highly recommend Vale.  Vale will give you a great foundation to get started.  If you attend Vale in Dallas with Mr. Gates as your instructor you will most certainly get your money's worth.  You will earn enough in your first week of work to pay for the course, so don't let money get in the way of the best training possible for your new career.

I attended the Vale Training center in Fresno last Oct as part of the CL group.
I highly recommend their training course. Neil and Gene know the material backwards and forwards and manage to keep things interesting and moving at a fast pace.
I'm looking at attending the Vale Commercial Adjuster class this spring or summer.
