It's been some time since my last visit to CADO. Congratulations to who ever is responsible for cleaning up the website. The forums look great and the discussions are much better now. Thank you.

Walt, that thanks goes to Roy Cupps the webmaster and a second generation adjuster. He clearly stated in so many words if one wanted to be part CADO and help move the industry forward they were welcome and if they were into slamming others they could do it somewhere else. Traffic is down some due to so many adjusters back home or heading that way to get rested up for 2006 hurricanes if they show up this season which is < 90 days away. We are seeing people like you happy to see the positive changes. I know vendors that rely on the resources and content of CADO but felt the FORUMS were a black eye on the industry. Since most were more interested in moving forward than fighting the handful that made the most negative noise found other outlets permitting CADO to move to a higher rung on the ladder. It will take some time but the quality adjusters that were run off by the BS will come back and help provide the knowledge base that the newer adjusters need to tap into without the fear of being abused.

Well Said Gale. Roy deserves much praise for keeping the site up and current while doing a very demanding job at the same time. Thanks Roy

Very good post Gale. I appreciate the dialogue and conversation from the experienced adjusters who chose to stay and provide positive input. But, I am also one that can handle and learn from positive criticism. I believe new and/or old in the business, there is something to be learned. I remember when we were running our Marine business and a Marine business down the street from us had to close for various reasons. A customer of the other business came into our store and said to me, "bet you sure are glad to see them go out of business". My reply was, "No, actually I am not, competition is healthy and they were business friends of ours, when others fail it hurts the entire industry." Keep up the good work Roy, we appreciate you and your efforts.

Thanks for steering me to the correct person to thank. I'm not all that familiar with the ownership or webmaster structure of CADO. Thank you Roy Cupps. This website has numerous benefits and much to offer. I am no longer hesitant to post onto the site.

Thank you to Mr. Cupps and everyone on CADO for making it a friendly place again. Gale, you did hit the nail on the head. The site is improved. The posts are positive and informative. CADO is indeed an asset to all. Job well done!

It is definitely refeshing to see the elimination of the negative and the accentuation of the positive. Those that were so negative may have been experienced adjusters, but they damaged this forum with their forked tongue tactics. If they want to be negative, I am glad they are gone. Thanks Mr Cupps ! I was irritated this whole storm season reading the negative posts. I have been deployed in La. for 6 months now and have looked to this forum for camaraderie, perspective, valuable insight and entertainment. I found the aggressive and demeaning attitude of a few to be draining and embarrasing to me as a professional adjuster. We all had to start somewhere. Again Cudos to You Roy! Craig Halye
