D'Wayne Tibbets
Funeral services for D'Wayne Tibbets, 68, of Lubbock, are planned for 1 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2006 in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel, with Pastors Zane Johnson and Jimmy Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 14, at Rest-haven Funeral Home. D'Wayne passed away at home April 11.
D'Wayne was born May 24, 1937 in Wolfforth, Texas to Willard and Bonnie Tibbets. He married Linda Pruitt on July 3, 1959, in Ropesville. D'Wayne worked for Allstate Insurance for 11 years before forming his own business, Tibbets Claim Service. He retired in 2001
